Ivanhoe of Sweden is a family business from Gällstad, Sweden. It was founded in 1946 by Martin Göthager, at that time under the name Gällstads Ylle. From Ivanhoe, we mainly carry knitwear made of wool: wool jackets and vests, sweaters, zip-neck sweaters and hoodies for women and men, with a few unisex styles.

What is Ivanhoe UNDYED?
At VerticalExtreme, ‘Ivanhoe UNDYED’ is our name for Ivanhoe styles knitted from undyed wool. These include wool jackets, vests, sweaters and hoodies from the Ivanhoe NLS and 1946 lines.
How are the shades created?
According to Ivanhoe, the shades of the wool come from blending the wool of different sheep. Ivanhoe gives the individual shades names such as birch, Nutmeg, latte or chocolate.
Material: 100% wool, some boiled
The stated fibre content of these styles is 100% wool. Some of the styles are made of boiled wool; according to Ivanhoe, these include, for example, the NLS Sap Full Zip, NLS Twig Full Zip, NLS Dahlia and the styles of the 1946 collection.
The NLS and 1946 lines
In our range, the NLS line includes wool jackets, vests, sweaters and hoodies for women and men, such as the NLS Twig Full Zip, NLS Sap Full Zip, NLS Holly or NLS Barley Vest. The 1946 collection is Ivanhoe’s anniversary collection marking 80 years since the company was founded. It comprises three styles: 1946 Jacket, 1946 Anorak and 1946 Vest. According to Ivanhoe, their knit consists of boiled, undyed wool with a teddy look.

What does ‘UNDYED’ mean?
UNDYED means ‘not dyed’. It refers to the wool these Ivanhoe styles are knitted from.
Does ‘undyed’ refer to the whole garment?
No. The term refers only to the wool, not to other components such as zips, buttons, badges, labels or sewing thread.
Why can the shades vary slightly?
Because the wool is undyed, the shades may vary slightly from batch to batch. Your item may therefore look slightly different from the product photo.
Which sizes are available for immediate delivery?

Can I exchange an item if the size does not fit?
Yes. For customers from Germany and Austria, exchanging an item for a different size or colour is free of charge. If the item you would like is not available, we will refund the purchase price.
